Our natural innerspring mattress is constructed with a core innerspring of electrically tempered steel coils surrounded by quilted organic cotton, which is then wrapped in pure natural wool, quilted on to deluxe organic cotton fabric. The multilayered pad construction prevents padding migration and maximizes longevity. The carded organic cotton adds comfort and the layer of pure wool acts as a natural dustmite repellent as well as a flame retardant. Inner tufting eliminates dust pockets and adds firmness. Available in Firm (padding-up to 150 lbs) or Super-firm (extra tufting in order to achieve a truly firm mattress).The box spring is a kiln-dried spruce wood frame. Inside, high gauge steel support coils are covered with a thick quilted organic cotton pad. This foundation offers superior support when used in conjunction with an organic mattress.
